He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
In order to keep our members and our community as safe as possible during the pandemic, our services will be in the following format until further notice:
OUTDOOR SERVICE ON THE RIO GRANDE RIVER: 10AM, SUNDAYS
Join us for a time of devotion to God in His beautiful creation. We will sing, pray, give, share in communion, and hear a message from God’s Word. We have individually wrapped communion available, or you can bring your own.
1. Please bring a lawn chair if you have one, but we do have seating available.
2. It’s a long hike to a bathroom, so plan accordingly.
3. Bring a jacket if you think you might get chilly. There’s a possibility of a breeze.
4. Please stay home if you have had any symptoms whatsoever.
5. Please refrain from shaking hands and hugging.
DIRECTIONS: The farm address is 18573 W Hwy 160. It’s about five miles west of Del Norte, on the north side of hwy 160 (where 14A goes south, you’ll turn into the farm on the north). It's a white house beside Pigeon Rock. Follow the road into the farm and veer left past the barns and down to the river.
OUR BUILDING: 6PM, SUNDAYS
For those who aren’t able to join us in the morning, we have an indoor service Sunday evening (including individually wrapped communion). Please wear a mask and practice physical distancing. If you have had any symptoms whatsoever, please do not attend in person.
ZOOM BIBLE CLASS: 6:30 PM, THURSDAYS
Please email email@example.com or call/text (719) 647-7751 for instructions on how to join our online Bible Classes.
We understand that this format might not be ideal for every person, so we thank you for your patience and understanding as we endeavor to do our best to spread the Gospel while keeping people safe.
Here you'll find a loving group of people who are committed to following Jesus and to helping others know the love of God. We don't claim to be perfect, but we want to share the same forgiveness we've recieved.
Dig deep into the Holy Word of God through our online sermons, lessons, and helpful articles.
Church isn't a place—its a family designed to help each other. God's design is for you to be blessed through a church community.
Plan a Visit
We're a group of imperfect people from different walks of life, but we're brought together by our belief that the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ changes everything about our world! We want that change to be with us every day, not just on Sundays. That's why we encourage each other in our effort to live with purpose, to get involved in service to others, and to carry on the mission of Jesus in South Fork and throughout the world.
Nathan and Cheryl Wheeler met in college. After getting married, they moved overseas, where they learned the language and worked with local churches in Cambodia. They eventually returned home to start a family and begin a new ministry in Florida. Recently, God opened the door for them to work with the church in South Fork . They've been in ministry for almost 20 years.
Cheryl is especially passionate about working with women and children, while Nathan loves helping people get inspired by the message of Jesus through preaching and discipleship.
They both love travelling the globe, the CO outdoors and spending time with their children. They're very excited to be part of the South Fork Church of Christ and the local community.
